At the logistics hub straddling Europe and Asia, smart manufacturing from China is rapidly illuminating the landscape of intelligent logistics in Turkey. Recently, LOGIANT has successfully deployed a large-scale sorting project for the footwear and apparel industry in Turkey. Leveraging its highly collaborative "Ant Colony Intelligence", the company injects new automation momentum into the local logistics system.

The client is a leading giant in Turkey’s footwear and apparel manufacturing sector. Its integrated footwear and apparel logistics center supports both B2B wholesale and C2C retail. The scale and complexity of its business place stringent demands on the logistics system. Beset by industry characteristics including a massive number of SKUs, volatile order volumes and fast-changing fashion cycles, as well as sorting challenges arising from mixed B2B wholesale and C2C retail operations, the traditional sorting model can no longer keep pace with the enterprise’s rapid growth.

Tailored to address the client’s pain points, LOGIANT delivered a robotic solution featuring intelligent recognition and flexible sorting. A fleet of 44 FlySort robots is deployed to operate round the clock, navigating freely inside the warehouse. 

Equipped with autonomous navigation technology and an intelligent scheduling algorithm, the robots can accurately locate racks, quickly pick designated goods and transport them to sorting zones via optimal routes, transforming operations from the "man-to-goods" model to the "goods-to-man" model.

The system also boasts outstanding flexibility and scalability. It automatically adjusts operational intensity in response to order peaks and troughs to achieve optimal resource allocation. During major e-commerce sales campaigns, the system proves irreplaceable, easily handling multi-fold surges in order volumes.

With 44 robots and over 150 grid configurations, the solution achieves an overall sorting throughput of 2,000 pieces per hour. It cuts order processing time by 65% and saves 30% of floor space. Meanwhile, skilled workers are reassigned to higher-value positions, enabling optimized human-robot collaboration. These tangible results are resetting the benchmarks for Turkey’s fashion supply chain.
